Today, we are thrilled and proud to welcome Quinn Wilson from the Swallows of the South podcast to the cave! Quinn is a talented improv performer and a fantastic part of the tabletop gaming community. He also has a wealth of information about language and its impact on storytelling in general. He's here to talk to Rich about Young Justice and how it uses language through the entirety of the series.

in this Intel Update, we focus on DC Rebirth. We also touch on Young Justice season 3 and Justice League Action. We also announce that Whelmed is becoming a twice a week podcast!

As a correction to what was recorded, Justice League Action is on the air in the US right now. We just haven't watched it yet. Would anyone care to share their opinion?

Season Three Announcement

Team! It finally happened! The official announcement about Young Justice Season 3 dropped on November 7 over on IGN. You can read it here. This is amazing and exciting! We don't know any major details yet, but Rich and Caleb needed to take a few minutes to gush about how terrific this is and how it has impacted the future of Whelmed.

Secret Origins : Robin

Hello team. Welcome to our first bonus episode. In the Secret Origins series, we will be discussing specific characters and their backgrounds in both DC and Young Justice.

We start today with a very special character, the Dick Grayson Robin. This character is near and dear to Rich's heart. In fact, things get pretty emotional in this episode. Due to that emotion, we had to use recording from a few different sessions, so there are some slight jumps in the audio.
